Neighborhood Wide Garage Sale
Don’t forget, tomorrow is our annual neighborhood yard sale! Time to make your junk someone else’s treasure!
If you live on a side street and would like more exposure, CAHSE (the community association) will be “renting” plots for $10 over at the playground. We’ll provide the signage. Your donation will go towards CAHSE’s operating expenses.
See you tomorrow!

Annual Clean-up Day & Picnic This Saturday!
We will be holding our annual neighborhood clean up day this Saturday. If you’d like to help, please come to the fire hall at 9 am. If you can’t make it that early, just come when you can. We NEED volunteers so we’re happy to have you whenever you can come.
Our plans are to have several teams tackling projects throughout the neighborhood. Depending on participation, we plan to: work in the yard at the fire hall; rake and trim down at the green space near Ochs and St. Elmo Ave.; pick up large items (couches, tires, lumber, etc.) throughout St. Elmo and take them to the dump; mow the grass over by the railroad overpasses; and send out teams to pick up litter. Of course, the more people that help the more projects we can accomplish.
If you know of any large items that have been dumped, please let us know the general location so we can add them to the list.
At 12:30 we will reconvene at the fire hall for a picnic. Bring your lunch and a blanket. We’ll have at least one grill on hand if you need it, and drinks will be provided. Clumpies ice cream will be served after lunch. Hope to see you on Saturday!

St. Elmo Monthly Meeting
Tonight is our monthly neighborhood meeting at the Old Firehall (4501 St. Elmo Avenue) at 7:00 p.m. St. Elmo has monthly neighborhood meetings the first Monday evening of the month. It is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors and keep up with events in the neighborhood. Tonight we will be discussing our goals for 2008.
